BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, S.C, – David Aaron Summer, 45, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015.
Mr. Summer was born in Newberry, S.C. on February 6, 1969, the son of Mike Summer and the late Jonelle Leaphart Summer. He was a graduate of B-L High School. He was a veteran who served in the United States Navy and the Army National Guard. He worked as a safety officer for Universal Forestry Products.
Survivors in addition to his father and step-mother, Mike and Betty McCord Summer, include a son, Michael Davaron Summer; daughters, Adrienne Jonelle Summer and Ashleigh Nicole Summer; brother, Shane Summer; and special friend, Jodi Shelfer and her daughter, Ashlyn.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, January 22, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel in Batesburg, S.C., with burial at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
