BOWERSVILLE – Michael “Mike” Bolemon, 61, died peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at St. Mary’s Healthcare.
Mike was born on March 9, 1953, the son of Bobbie Sue Hart Bolemon and the late Orville Haley Bolemon. He was an engineer having worked with Milliken and Fanello Industries in Lavonia.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Janice Pickens Bolemon; two children, Donnie Bolemon and wife Dana Bolemon, and Amy Bolemon Quarles and husband Travis Quarles; three grandchildren, Lauren Bolemon, Sam Bolemon, and Hunter Quarles; brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Gina Bolemon, Billy and Rita Bolemon, Bobby Bolemon, and Orville and Tammy Bolemon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan Morgan and the late Pete Morgan, and Sheila and Greg Morgan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Gwen Pickens, Ted and the late Dottie Pearson, and Ronnie and Brenda Pickens.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clay Huff officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston. The family will receive friends the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, February 20. The family is at the home.
