WINDER – Richard Patterson Osborne, Sr. “Pat”, 75, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015.
Mr. Osborne was born August 19, 1939, the son of the late Junious Buell and Sara Grace Osborne. He served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1961 and retired from Chevron after 30 years. Mr. Osborne was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carole Osborne Hayes.
Survivors include his wife, Allene Osborne, Winder; son, Richard P. Osborne, Jr., Braselton; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Amy Osborne, Whispering Pines, N.C.; Kim Gaylor Osborne, Knoxville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Starr Osborne, Haley Osborne Hicks and husband, Josh, Hannah Osborne, Jared Osborne, Jeremy Osborne, and Jayson Osborne; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Linda Osborne, Suwanee; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Dave Baker, Auburn; sister, Elaine Gazaway, Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 11, at Rejoice Worship Center, 5015 Cash Rd., Flowery Branch, GA 30542. Pastor Jerry Mauldin will officiate.
