MAYSVILLE – Rebecca Sailors, 73, entered into rest Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
Mrs. Sailors was born in Hoschton, the daughter of the late Grady and Geraldine Cash Langford. She was a graduate of Young Harris College, a retired teacher / parent coordinator with Head Start, and was a member of the Dry Pond United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Sailors, Maysville; son, Richard Sailors and his wife Paige, Maysville; daughter, Pam Sailors, Springfield, Mo.; one grandson, Ashton Sailors, Maysville; one sister, Christa Sue Pickett, Albany; and special friend of the family, Lauren Laughlin.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, from the Dry Pond United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Dry Pond United Methodist Church Cemetery. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Mark Pickett, Scott Pastor, Roger Cash, Dwight Langford, Albert Sailers, Phillip Merk, Ed Adams, and Ashton Sailors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, April 10, from 6 to 8 p.m.
