ALTO – Edith Dalton Wade, 88, of Line Church Community, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.
Mrs. Wade was born on January 12, 1927, in Banks County, the daughter of the late Odis and Mary Payne Dalton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady B. Wade; brothers, Vance Dalton, Bradford Dalton, and Nelson Dalton. Mrs. Dalton was a member of Line Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Carwood Manufacturing with 52 years of service.
Survivors include her sister, Eleanor English, Homer; brothers, Ruben Dalton, Homer, and Ralph Dalton, Alto; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, at Line Baptist Church in Alto, with the Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in Line Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 22.
