COMMERCE – Betty Jean Brooks Peek, 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
Mrs. Peek was born in Barrow County, the daughter to the late Loyd and Pauline Allen Brooks. Mrs. Peek was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophesy in Braselton. Mrs. Peek was preceded in death by a brother, Royce Brooks; and sister, Geneva Williams.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, James Junior Peek, Commerce; son, Danny Peek and his wife Sharron, Commerce; grandchildren, Pamela and Fernando Gonzalez and Stacy and Misty Peek; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. David Smith and Joe Hardy officiating. The burial will follow in the Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Braselton.
