COMMERCE – Jerry Talmadge Hardy, 73, died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Northridge Medical Center.
Mr. Hardy was born in Homer, the son of the late Berry Talmadge and Ethel Williams Hardy. Mr. Hardy was the Senior Vice President of First Commerce Bank, member of Madison Street Baptist Church, Commerce Lions Club, and Banks-East Jackson Gideons.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Brown Hardy, Commerce; sons, Rodney Miles Hardy (Lynn), Winston-Salem, N.C., and J. Kevin Hardy (Wendy), Commerce; sister, June Westbrook, Commerce; grandchildren, Jason Hardy, Jennifer and Cameron Harris, Mara and Caleb Mitchell, and Perry and Liam Hardy.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, at 3 p.m. from Madison Street Baptist Church with the Revs. David Harbin, Larry Montgomery, and Alton Wilson officiating, with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens.
