NICHOLSON – Stephen Ray Jones, 54, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at his residence.
Mr. Jones was born in Cushing, Okla., the son of Mary Lou Blakley Jones of Nicholson and the late Daniel Truman Jones. Mr. Jones worked at Bed, Bath & Beyond and was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Cathy Yvette Tolbert Jones, Nicholson; son, Austin Blakley Jones, Nicholson; daughters, Brianna McKinzie, Nicholson, and Autumn Reno, Commerce; sisters, Cheryl Lynn Jones McGarry, Hackettstown, N.J. and Susan Beatrice Jones Smith, Dubai, UAE; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, at 2 p.m., from the Antioch United Methodist Church with the Revs. Richard Cathey and Marshall Bruner officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, September 3, from 5 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
