JEFFERSON – Evelyn Annie Davis, 82, passed away on September 9, 2015.
Mrs. Davis was born in Jefferson, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John F. and Selick Susan Whitlock Martin. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church and worked at the Jefferson Mills and the BJC Hospital. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Davis Sr.; and brothers, Elmer Martin and Eugene Martin.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Edward and Dana Davis, Savannah, and Alan Davis, Jefferson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Johnnie and Earl Carithers and Ruby and Harold Lord, all of Jefferson; grandchildren, Ashlie Wilson, Nicky Dorsey, Lindsey Waldrop, Megan and Kevin Wilson; and a great-grandchild, Evelyn Belle Dorsey.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20, at 3 p.m., in the Victory Baptist Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Danny Heal officiating.
