LULA – Genavee Westmoreland Wilde, 79, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015.
Born in Banks County on December 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Boyd and Serena Brock Westmoreland. Mrs. Wilde was also preceded in death by her husband, Cline L. Wilde; and brother, Ben Westmoreland. She was a homemaker and a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters, Cindy and Alan Meeks and Robin Crump and Joseph Reyes, all of Lula; grandchildren, Brandon and Kayla Meeks, Mandi and Keith Barkley, Caleb Meeks, and Austin Crump and Christopher Crump; and great-grandchildren, Malcom Barkley and Ava Meeks.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, at Rock Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Porter officiating. Interment will follow in Silver Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour on Wednesday at the church.
