MAULDIN, S.C. – Minnie Lois D. Williams, 84 passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late J.M. and Willie Mae Abernathy David and was the widow of J.D. Jones. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Marshal David, Bill David, Marvin David, and Howard David. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Jones, Ila; two daughters, Linda Kittle and Patsy Jones, both of Mauldin, S.C.; four brothers, Dewitt David, Commerce, Walter David, Homer, Robert David, Holly Springs, Ga., and Jerry David, Guntersville, Ala.; sister, Louise Harden, Guntersville, Ala.; granddaughter, Michelle Gaither, Commerce; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Gaither and Christopher Gaither; a great-great-grandchild, Aviannah Gordon; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday November 28, at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Donald Wilson and David Poston officiating. Burial was in Jackson Memorial Gardens.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of the arrangements.
