COMMERCE – Candace Nicole Cook, 32, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at her residence.
Mrs. Cook was born in Gainesville, the daughter of William Terry Cook (Pam) of Commerce and Tammy Lee Bennett Roush of Baldwin. She was self-employed as a landscaper.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cook was survived by her husband, Donald Strickland, Commerce; sisters, Megan Cook, Brevard, N.C., Paige Lee, Clarksville, and Layla Coffee, Athens; brother, Andrew Murry, Philadelphia, Pa.; grandmothers, Mary Ann Cook, Commerce, and Donna Collins, Cleveland; and great grandmother, Blanche Waddell.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, May 6, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, May 5, from 6 to 8 p.m.
