LAVONIA – Dianne Hanley Riley, 68, formerly of Danielsville, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at her residence.
Born August 11, 1947, in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Evelyn (Winfrey) Hanley. She was a cosmetologist. Mrs. Riley was a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by husbands, Guy Peterman and Joe Riley; daughter, Sherri Jo Poole; brother, Kenneth Hanley; and brother-in-law, Jerry Mason.
Survivors include granddaughters, Riley Dutton and Wade, Annsley Davis and Justin Brown, and Braylee Poole; great-grandson, Davis Dutton; siblings: Sandra Mason, Larry Hanley and Marie, Carol Ingram and Sam, and Gary Hanley and Mary; and sister-in-law, Donna Hanley.
The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Childress officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, May 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. At other hours, the family will be at the home.
Flowers are optional or donations may be made to defray funeral expenses.
