COMMERCE – George Edwin Bradberry, 66, died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at his residence.
Mr. Bradberry was born in Athens, the son of the late Robert Donald and Grace Bettis Bradberry. Mr. Bradberry was retired from Jackson County, where he was a corrections officer. He was a member of Living Waters Worship Center and was a United States Air Force veteran. Mr. Bradberry was preceded in death by two step-sons, Kenny and Danny Puckett.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Elizabeth Carter Bradberry, Commerce; son, Bobby Bradberry, Statham; daughter, Michelle Walker, Maysville; step-son, Michael Puckett, Bogart; step-daughters, Linda Benton, Statham, and Janice Bullock, Bogart; brothers, Randy Bradberry, Loganville, Don Bradberry, Hull, and Jeff Bradberry, Sugar Hill; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 8, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. William Whitfield officiating with the interment following in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 7, from 5 to 8 p.m.
