MONROE – Doris “Dot” Pauline Hunter, 89, died on Monday, September 5, 2016.
She was born in Atlanta on February 19, 1927, the daughter of the late Eunice Brown Smith and William Grady Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben E. Hunter; her daughter, Brenda Cooley Keller; and granddaughter Brittany Cooley.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in -aw, Sandra and Joe Brooks, Monroe; brother and sister-in -aw, Glenn and Sylvia Smith, Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Tara Brooks and Tammy Ault; and great-grandchildren, William Ault, Kaitlyn Ault, and Hannah Brooks.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 8, , at 1:30 p.m., in the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Jeffrey Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
