MAYSVILLE – Lucille Netie Jacks, 89, died Monday, December 9, 2013, at Northridge Medical Center.
Mrs. Jacks was born in Maysville, the daughter of the late Harrison and Chester Parr Seay. She was retired from General Times and was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church. Mrs. Jacks was preceded in death by her husband, Blanton Jacks; son, Melvin Jacks; grandson, Donnie Jacks; brothers, Otis Seay, Lewis Seay, J.B. Seay, Fred Seay, and Joe Seay; and sister, Mozelle Lord.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Yarbrough, Maysville; sister, Mary Sue King, Bonaire; grandchildren, Lisa Marlow (Steve), Jefferson, Pam Yarbrough (Chris Bridges), Maysville, Nikki Lord (Bryan), Homer; granddaughter-in-law, Judy Jacks, Jefferson; great-grandchildren, Jonathon Marlow (Katie), Commerce, Clint Jacks, Jefferson, Chasity Garrett, Homer, Jessica Marlow, Jefferson, Caitlin Lord, Homer, and Shannon Anderson (George), Jefferson; great-great-grandchildren, Cade Bougher, Jefferson, and Allison Anderson, Jefferson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, at 3 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Seay officiating. Interment will be at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverside Baptist Church or Hospice Advantage.
