WINDER – Rachel C. Dunagan, 97, died Friday, December 13, 2013.
A native of Talmo, she was the daughter of the late J.W. Dunagen, Sr. and Elizabeth Ivey Carlyle. She was the widow of James Earl Dunagan. Mrs. Dunagan was a retiree of R & R Manufacturing Company and was of the Baptist denomination.
Survivors include daughters, Evelyn Dunagan and Shirley Browning, both of Winder; granddaughter and spouse, Tracy and Vadood Noutash, Sugar Hill; great-grandchildren, David Thompson, Spain, Jade and Jeffrey Duane, Winder, and Rachel Thompson, Houston, Texas; great-great-grandchildren, Arlo and Jack Duane, Winder; and sister, Sadie Teal, Auburn.
Funeral services were held Sunday, December 15, from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Soop officiating. Interment was in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
