DANIELSVILLE – Virginia Evelyn Parham, 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at the Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.
She was born in Comer on June 11, 1925, daughter of the late John M. and Nora Wall Parham. She was a secretary having worked in the horticulture department at the University of Georgia and was of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Parham was preceded in death by four brothers; and six sisters.
Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gary and Lori Januchowski officiating. Interment will follow in the Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, December 20. The family is at their respective homes.
