COMMERCE – Peggy Florella “Duddie” Culpepper, 85, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Frank and Bertie Alewine McElreath. Mrs. Culpepper was preceded in death by her husband, Hughlon “Bud” Culpepper.
Survivors include a son, Jerry (Lynda) Culpepper, Commerce; grandchildren, Stacy (Lisa) Culpepper and Latricia (Norman) Banks, Commerce; great-grandchildren, Ethen Banks and Colton Banks, Commerce; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 29, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Douglas Duncan and Andy Bonds officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery following the service.
