LAWRENCEVILLE – Alida Still, 83, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Grady Still; brother, Bob Crane; sisters, Mary Joe Freeman, Charlette Newton; and daughter-in-law, Cheryl.
She was a life-long member of the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville and retired from the Gwinnett County Public School System after teaching third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades at Lawrenceville Elementary School.
Survivors include sons, Bill Still and his wife, Marianne, Martin Still, Jason Still and his wife, Beth, John Still, and Carl Still and his wife, Dianne; brother, Matthew Crane and his wife, Pat; grandchildren, Pamela, Amoree, Dell, Emily, Alex, Jacob, Dakota, William, Kyle, Chynna, Jessica, and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Cherlyn, Brandie, Casey, Destiny, Lisa, Reilly, Ashton, Grayson, and Lilly; great-great-grandchildren, Destin, Desmen, Bryson, Jordan, and Kane; and many loving life-long friends.
Funeral services to honor the life of Alida Still will be held Thursday, January 2, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville with interment to follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 31, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday, January 1, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel.
