COMMERCE – Ruby Ethel Standridge, 81, died Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Northridge Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Standridge was born in Maysville, the daughter of the late Everett John and Bessie Irene Williamson Swain. She was a homemaker and chicken farmer. Mrs. Standridge was preceded in death by her husband, Ruelee Standridge, Jr.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda Beasley (Larry), Chatsworth; son and special friend, James Standridge, Commerce, and Tracy Tench, Center; son, Harold Lester Standridge, Commerce; sisters, Jennie Hardman and Stella Hooper (Gene), both of Commerce, Vivian Gray (Felton), Carnesville, Linda Shelby (Robert), Elberton, and Leila Price (Dewitt), Maxeys; sister-in-law, Louise Swain, Commerce; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at held at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 1, at Cabin Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
