ATHENS – Doris Lou Bickel, 89, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
A native of Oregon, Mrs. Bickel was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Adah Latham Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Bickel.
Survivors include daughters, Susan Lazo and Karen Bickel; son, Allen Bickel; one brother; one sister; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
