HIAWASSEE – Joey Johnson, 46, formerly of Winder, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014.
Mr. Johnson was employed by Tull Metals as a machine operator. He was preceded by his father, Larry L. Johnson.
Survivors in addition to his mother and stepfather include his wife, Tina Hardy Johnson; daughter, Amanda Johnson, Clarkesville, Tenn.; granddaughter, Samantha Johnson; mother and stepfather, Betty and Ed Cravey, Gainesville; brothers, Chris Johnson, Grayson, and Jim Cravey, Lawrenceville; sisters, Belinda Peacock, Bethlehem, Carla Cravey, Atlanta, and Susan Jones, Lawrenceville.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 6, at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
