MAYSVILLE – Donald Gaines, 59, entered into rest Saturday, February 8, 2014.
Mr. Gaines was born in Pendergrass, the son of the late Luke and Lou Belle Satterfield Gaines. He was preceded in death by brothers, Gene, Matt, Raymond, William, Luther, and John Henry Gaines; and a sister, Irene Whisnant.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Martin Gaines, Maysville; son, Randy Martin, Maysville; sisters, Betty Jones, Commerce, and Nellie Fay Lee, Jefferson; and brothers, Rudolph Gaines, Nicholson, and Clyde Gaines, Maysville.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Marty Smith and Winfred Bingham officiating. Burial will follow in Evans Memory Gardens with Larry Gaines, H.E. Gaines, Kenneth Gaines, Gerald Jones, Matthew Gaines, and Andy Bingham honored as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
