HULL – Steven Lamar Janes, Sr., 44, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014.
He was the son of Charles M. Janes Sr. and the late Carolyn Davis. Mr. Janes was preceded in death by a brother, Charles M. Janes, Jr.
Survivors include his children, Steven Janes, Jr., Charles Janes, Jennifer Janes, and Christoper Lowe; grandchildren, Kaitlynn Janes and McKenzie Lowe; sister, Catherine Ford; and a brother, John Darby.
The family will receive friends at Bridges Funeral Home on Tuesday March 4, from 6 until 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday, March 5, from 12 until 1 p.m. followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 2700 Colham Ferry Rd., Watkinsville, Ga.
Bridges Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of the arrangements.
