MARIETTA – Tim Alvah Bennett, 59, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014, in Marietta.
He was born in Homer on August 21, 1954, the son of Frank Gartrell Bennett and Velma Sue Bennett of Homer. He was a loving father and a devoted husband and grandfather. Tim worked at Lockheed Martin in Marietta for over 20 years and enjoyed spending time on the lake in Jackson, Ga. He was surrounded by family and will be forever in the hearts of those who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Bennett, Woodstock; sons and daughters-in-law, Donovan and E.V. Bennett, Marietta, and Chris and Carly Bennett, Woodstock; brother, Kenneth Bennett, Homer; sister, Fran Bennett, Gainesville; Helen Davis, Lexington, Va.; and four grandchildren, Pierce Bennett, Lauren Fuentes, Skylar Fuentes, and Hunter Humble.
