COMMERCE – Tony Michael Evans, 64, died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Duke University Hospital.
He was born in Commerce, the son of Bonnie Tolbert Evans of Commerce and the late JB Evans. He was a member of Berea Baptist Church and was retired Vice President of Athens First Bank.
Survivors in addition to his mother, include his wife, Vicki Thomas Evans; daughter, Emily Brown (Tracey); brother, Ted Evans (Mary); nephew, David Evans (Tabitha); and great-nephew, Parker Evans, all of Commerce.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Atkins officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, July 31, from 5 to 8 p.m.
