HULL – Henrietta Tucker Martin passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Ezekiel Travis Tucker and Hennie Lester Tucker. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by husband, James Melvin Martin; son, Charles Martin; daughter, Joy Martin, and son-in-law, Franklin Daniels. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include sons, Tal Martin and wife, Judy, Hull, and Mickey Martin and wife, Mary Beth, Winterville; daughters, Susan Daniels, Dansville, and Shyron Ivey and husband, Jim, Monroe; daughter-in-law, Jean Martin, Hull; sister-in-law, Earline Tucker, Hepzibah; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Luther Fouche officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, at the funeral home.
