BARROW COUNTY – Tammy Lynn Hall Moore, 47, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014.
She was the daughter of Nathaniel and Linda Hammond Hall. Tammy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and daughter. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence and Hattie Bradley Hall and Gerald and Essie Dailey Hammond.
Tammy was a woman of faith. She was a dedicated member of The People’s Baptist Church in Jefferson, where she held many jobs. She taught Sunday school, volunteered to coordinate Vacation Bible School, and helped with many other activities. Tammy loved her church family.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Dennis Moore; daughters, Jessica Cheek, Kayla Cheek (Allen) Brand, and Hali Cheek; step-daughters, Jessica and Paige Moore; grandson, Jaxon Lewis; sister Patti Hall (Timmy) Powell, brother, Rex (Anita) Hall; and special friends, Rosa and Grady Higgins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 15, at 2 p.m., at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel followed by burial at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
