DACULA – Lewis Elton Wells Jr., 70, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014.
Lewis was born in Moss Point, Miss. He retired from Sears, after being employed there for over 40 years. Lewis was a former member of the Tucker CB Club. He ran and owned the Metro Atlanta Dart Association for many years. He was also an avid animal lover. Mr. Wells was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Wells Sr. and Bertha Wells.
Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Carole Wells, Dacula; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Rick Castellaw, Jefferson; daughter, Denise Bailey, Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Chas and Trevor Castellaw and Emily and Tucker Bailey; along with a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
A memorial service honoring the life of Lewis Wells Jr., will be held on Thursday, June 12, , at 3 p.m. in the Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with the Rev. DeDe Leetch officiating. The family will receive guests from 2 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Serene Gardens in Moss Point, Miss. at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to McKendree UMC Kitchen Fund, 1570 Lawrenceville Suwanee Rd., Lawrenceville, GA 30043.
