CANTON – Joshua Hunter Lowe, five-month-old infant son of Reverends Justin and Melissa Lowe, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville, N.C.
Throughout Joshua’s short life, he was able to light up a room with his smile. He loved listening to music, cuddling in the arms of loved ones, sharing smiles, and cooing. Joshua’s life spoke often, “Be strong and courageous, Mommy and Daddy.”
In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Michael and Elizabeth “Tilly” Welborn, Hoschton; paternal grandparents, Trenten and Cindy Lowe, Liberty, N.C.; an uncle, Jonathan Welborn; aunts, Caitlin Herrington and her husband, Matthew, and Kimberly Blackaby and her husband, Robb; and many loved cousins and family members.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 30, at the Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church with the Revs. Amy Coles, Dr. Charles W. “Chuck” Wilson, II, and David Childers officiating. Burial will be private.
