JEFFERSON – Tammy Elizabeth McLeroy Wilkes, 56, entered into rest Saturday, June 28, 2014.
Ms. Wilkes was born in Athens, the daughter of the late J.L. and Barbara Ellen Saye McLeroy, was retired from SunTrust Bank, and attended Foundation of the House Church in Commerce.
Survivors include a daughter, Abigail Grace Wilkes, Jefferson; brothers, Greg McLeroy and his wife, Cindy, Clarkesville, Rusty McLeroy, Athens, and Chuck McLeroy, Sautee; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Phillip Slaughter and Mike Franklin officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 1, , from 5 to 8 p.m.
