AUBURN – Roy D. Kinsey, 61, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014.
He was born in Dalton and was a resident of Barrow County for over 35 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada Kinsey; and sisters, Ruth, Ruby, and Retha.
Survivors include his loving wife, LaWanda; brothers, Richard Kinsey, Resaca, Robert Kinsey (Joyce), Tunnel Hill, Rufus Kinsey (Kay), Braselton; and children, Darren Kinsey, Johns Creek, Jason Kinsey (Ashley), Lawrenceville, Leah Naquin (Tyler), Lawrenceville, and Jeffrey Kinsey, Auburn; and one grandchild, Ever London Kinsey.
A memorial service was held at Smith Memorial Chapel in Winder on September 6, officiated by Ronnie Jennings of Winder.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
