COLBERT – Cleveland Lord Christian, 73, passed away October 22, 2014, at his residence. He is the son of the late Ezra and Maudie Christian. Mr. Christian is preceded in death by his brother, Willie Ray Christian; and sister, Winnie Mae Campbell.
Funeral services will be Friday Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. at Lord & Stephens, East Chapel with the Revs. Terry James and Tim Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday Oct. 23, from 6-8 p.m. The interment will be in Colbert cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Christian; daughters, Angela D. Shubert, Nakena K. Christian and Tierra K. Shook; sister and brother, Carolyn Bullock and Robert Christian; grandchildren, Kristopher Terrell, Daylan Shubert, Kayla Williams, Taegen Shubert, Lexie Shook and Tristan Shook; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family asks, in lieu of flowers, make memorial donations to the Madison County Meals on Wheels c/o Madison County Senior Center, 1265 Highway 98 West, Danielsville, Georgia 30633.
