WINDER – Timothy Floyd “Hambone” Stringer, 36, formerly of Jefferson, entered into rest Friday, October 31, 2014.
Mr. Stringer was born in Commerce, the son of the late Bobby Stringer and Tenna Hoopaugh Stringer of Winder. Mr. Stringer was preceded by grandparents, John Floyd and Hattie Stringer.
Survivors in addition to his mother include sisters, Bobbie Jo Grant and her husband, David, Jacksboro, Tenn., and Virginia Weeks, Jefferson; daughter, Sierra Stringer, Colorado; grandparents, John and Jennie Hoopaugh, Pendergrass; uncle, like a brother, Chris Hoopaugh, Atlanta; uncle, Danny Hoopaugh and his wife, Tammy, Athens; aunt, Janis Mangum and her husband, Jerry, Pendergrass; uncles, John T. Stringer, Jefferson, and Bill Stringer, Liberty, S.C.; four nieces; and two nephews.
Memorial services were held Monday, November 3, from the Academy Baptist Church with the Revs. Eric Shelton and David Grant officiating.
