JEFFERSON – Martha Geneva Voyles, 94, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2104.
Mrs. Voyles was born in Jefferson, the daughter of the late Alvin Edgar Evans and Minnie Eunice Boggs Evans. She was a member of the Galilee Christian Church in Jefferson and was retired from Textron Manufacturing. Mrs. Voyles was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Voyles, Sr.; and a son, James Howard Voyles, Jr.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Sherlene Voyles, Stone Mountain; daughter-in-law, Camille Voyles, Braselton; grandchildren, Brent (Chelsea) Voyles, Destin (Kevin) Petty, Heather (Cal) Anderson, Shanna (Chris) Golder, and Blake Voyles; five great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters .
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 10, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Ministers Nick Vipperman and Tom Plank officiating. The burial will follow in the North Atlanta Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service.
