GROVE HILL, ALA. – Samuel Jerry McCall, 68 died Sunday, November 2, 2014, in Greensboro, Ala.
He was born August 28, 1946, in Toccoa. Jerry was a retired sawmill foreman with Scotch Lumber Company and was the owner of the Fulton Grocery. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and attended Liberty Baptist Church. Mr. McCall was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Foreman.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy P. McCall, Grove Hill, Ala.; two daughters, Kimberly Faith McCall Bell, Thomasville, Ala. and Jennifer McCall Jackson, Daphne, Ala.; two stepchildren, Chris Newsome, Dickinson, Ala. and Stephanie Harrell, Thomasville, Ala.; brother, Larry Thomas McCall, Houston; four grandchildren, Hope Foreman, Thomasville, Ala., Mary Virginia Jackson, Daphne, Ala., Macy Jackson, Daphne, Ala., and Abby Wynn Harrell, Thomasville, Ala.; and a nephew, Matthew McCall, Athens.
Funeral services will be held at Liberty Baptist Church in Thomasville, Ala., on Tuesday, November 11, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Bill Faircloth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Liberty Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 11, from 12 noon until 2 p.m., prior to the service.
