ELBERTON – Donna Guest Duncan, 54, wife of 38 years to Dennis Duncan, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Georgia Regents University Hospital in Augusta.
Mrs. Duncan was born in Elbert County on August 2, 1960, the daughter of Frances Rousey Guest of Elberton and the late Thomas Emory Guest. She was a member of New Town Baptist Church and retired as a bookkeeper from Blackwell Elementary School. Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by three siblings, Debra Callaway, Denise Erwin, and Gary Thomas Guest.
Left to cherish her memories in addition to her mother include her husband, Dennis, of the home; children and their spouses, Amanda and Alex Duck and Patrick and Krista Duncan; three grandchildren, Lily, Roselyn, and Alexa; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, November 26, at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
The family is at the residence of Amanda and Alex Duncan, 411 Highland Avenue, Elberton, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25.
