Robert “Bob” E. Trimble, 73, stepped into the Father’s presence, Saturday, December 6, 2014.
He was born July 19, 1941, in Atlanta, to son of the late Aubrey and Mary Frances Trimble. Bob grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Fulton High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Elaine DeMoss Trimble, and they would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this Christmas Eve. Bob retired from working as a corporate insurance broker first at Johnson Higgins and later from Marsh McLennan. He and Elaine enjoyed traveling and taking their four grandchildren on trips within the states and abroad. Upon retirement, they moved to Jefferson. Bob faithfully served and ministered to the Jefferson community through the food banks of First Baptist Church Jefferson and Maysville Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Elaine, Bob, include three children, Robin Trimble (Tom) Noland, Crystal T. (William) Southerland, and Robert Thomas (Tom) Trimble; one brother, Ron S. Trimble; four grandchildren, Julie, Taylor, Nick and Cruz; one great-grandchild, Addy; along with several nieces and nephews and many other family members.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 10, at 2 p.m. at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church, 1183 Highway 92, Fayetteville, GA. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

A memorial service will be held at a future date in the Jefferson community.
