COMER – Charlie Gordon Coile, 87, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014, at the Brown Health & Rehab in Royston.
Mr. Coile was born on June 24, 1927, in Danielsville, the son of the late Pat Chapman Coile and Allene Collins Coile. He was a maintenance worker having worked with Seabord Farms. He was a member of the David’s Home Pentecostal Holiness Church in Comer, where he was also a deacon in the church. Mr. Coile was a veteran having served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Billie Frances Conwell Coile; and one brother, Lint Coile.
Survivors include brothers and spouses, Dabney Coile and Bob (Martha) Coile, both of Comer, Jimmy (Sandra) Coile, Hull, and Larry (Linda) Coile, Hartwell; one sister-in-law, Carol Coile, Monroe; and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 26, at the David’s Home Pentecostal Holiness Church in Comer with the Rev. Doug Conwell officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
