Hugh Thompson Cooley, 96, entered into rest Saturday, January 17, 2015.
Mr. Cooley was born in Jefferson, the son of the late Pemberton and Martha Crooks Cooley. He worked at Combustion Engineering and was a member of the First Methodist Church of Jefferson.
Survivors include 13 nieces and nephews, including Gus Johnson and Henry Fite of Jefferson.
Graveside service will be held Saturday February 7, at 11 a.m., at the Woodbine Cemetery with Pemberton Cooley officiating.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
