Born April 18, 1932, Ms. Sears was a native of Commerce, and was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was retired after dedicating her life for years as a hospice caretaker for the elderly and loved all her patients like family. She was an animal lover and enjoyed working in her beautiful flower gardens when she was able. She was of the Baptist denomination.
Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia (Cindy Ann) Mobley, Wasilla, Alaska; three grandchildren, Ricky Mobley, Maysville, Summer Mobley, Maysville, and Heather Teets, Winder; brother, James Sears, Commerce; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be announced soon.
