Tony died Monday, February 2, 2015.
Born January 22, 1951, he was the son of the late Diago and Florence Surace and was raised in New York. He married the love of his life, Faye Potts, in August of 1978. They resided in Pendergrass, where Tony was a skilled mechanic in the bowling and entertainment industry. Tony suffered from Guillain-Barre Syndrome and donated his body to science to help others who contact the syndrome so they may not suffer the pain as he did .
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Faye Surace, Pendergrass; sister, Rose Samples, Pendergrass; daughters, Melinda Brooks (James), Good Hope, and Gail Parish (Scott), Pendergrass; son, Charles Martin, Newnan; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 28, at 10 a.m., at Pendergrass Baptist Church in Pendergrass.
