COMMERCE – Charles Monroe Chestnut, 83, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
He was the son of the late Angus and Mamie Chestnut.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Johnson Chestnut, Commerce; sons, Michael Chestnut, Athens, and Patrick Chestnut, Maysville; step-daughter, Alice Chastain, Woodstock; sister, Shirley Scoggins, Alabama; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 26, from 6 until 8 p.m. Services will be held on Friday, February 27, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Henry Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Grey Hill Cemetery.
