CUMMING – Lester W. Kaiser, Jr., 86, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015.
Born December 19, 1928, he worked with Western Electric for 37 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America Club, which supplies needy children with hand-made toys. Mr. Kaiser supported St. Jude Children’s Hospital and worked with the Wish Foundation. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Holbert; and sister, Susan Kaiser.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Kaiser; children, John Kaiser, Cumming, Tracey and Ben Archer, Jefferson, and Robert and Kelly Kaiser, Dawsonville, son-in-law, Steve Holbert, Buford; sisters, Marge and Dave Rinker and Marie Rogers, California; brother, George and Nancy Kaiser, New York; and a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 23, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Cumming, Father Frank Richardson officiated. Inurnment was Wednesday, February 25, at Georgia National Cemetery.
Donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association and St. Jude’s Hospital.
