FLOWERY BRANCH – Dawn Marie Cormick, 74, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bill Cormick.
Survivors include children, Tamala Jean and Lee Boon, Alberta, Canada, Clinton William, Sr. and Gloria M. Cormick, Lexington, S.C., Stuart and Cathy Cormick, Jefferson, and Reta Cormick, Flowery Branch; five grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Sadie Guthrie, New Brunswick, Canada, and Lynda and Dave McKeen, Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Cormick was born August 20, 1940, in Biggar Ridge, New Brunswick, Canada. She was a 1957 graduate of Juniper High School and she also attended nursing school. She was retired office manager from Waste Management Company after 20 years of service. She was a member of New Rock Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Dacula.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Revs. Josh Landress of New Rock Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Dacula, and Eric Shelton of Academy Baptist Church in Jefferson, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 3, from 6 until 8 p.m.
