Walter Neisler was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, April 22, 2015.
He was born in Banks County on March 14, 1929, the son of the late Charles Walter Neisler Sr. and Jessie Virginia Brown Neisler.
We know he is reunited with his parents and other siblings. Mr. Neisler was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Neisler; and sisters, Sybil Marlow and Pauline Doss.
He was retired from Wayne Poultry in Pendergrass.
Survivors include sisters, Sue Chisholm, Commerce, Blanche Eubanks, Danielsville; a brother, Ralph Neisler, Taylors, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews including a very special nephew, Steve Doss.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, at 11 a.m., at Ivie Chapel with the Rev. Larry Montgomery officiating. Visitation will be Friday, April 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Youth and Children’s Ministry at Madison Street Baptist Church, 188 Madison St., Commerce, GA 30529.
The family wishes to thank Northeast Georgia Hospice for the excellent care given during his battle with renal failure. We especially thank Brenda, Melissa, Denise, Deece, Jill, Ajia, Annie, Oddessey, and Angelia for their special care.
