MAYSVILLE – Shelby Fowler Presley, 67, entered into rest Saturday, May 9, 2015.
Mrs. Presley was born in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Robert and Willonell Brewer Fowler. She was a homemaker and a caregiver to many and was a Charter Member of Redeemed Baptist Church in Commerce. She was only recently preceded in death by her late husband, William David “Bill” Presley; a sister, Juanita Stowe; and brother, William Fowler.
Survivors include two sons, David Presley and his wife Dana, Maysville, and Darrel Presley and his wife Sharon, Nicholson; a daughter, Melody Dudziak and her husband Mark, Jefferson; sister, Sheila Beck, Pendergrass; brother, Edward Fowler , Auburn; close family friends, Danny and Cindy Whitlock; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, from Redeemed Baptist Church, 805 B Wilson Rd., Commerce, with the Revs. Phil Parks, Darrel Presley, and Mike Stowers officiating. The Reverend Louis Gaddis will officiate at the graveside. Burial will follow in Evans Memory Gardens in Jefferson. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Joshua Presley, Brian Presley, Corey Mize, Danny Whitlock, Mark Dudziak, and Johnny Fowler. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, May 11, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
