WINDER – Joanne R. Morgan, 83, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015.
She was a member of the Winder First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Hugh R. Morgan, Sr.; two sons, Hugh R. Morgan, Jr. and wife Donna, Athens, and Joe Morgan and wife Lavonda, Winder; two daughters, Beth and Chris Head, Hawkinsville, and Mandy and Chris Smith, Winder; brother, J.D. Robinson, Commerce; grandchildren, Stacey Smith, Kelly Lord, Benjamin Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Vincent Morgan, Stephan Morgan, Cayla Morgan, Eric Vickers, Morgan Harvey, and Cody Smith; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, at 2 p.m., in the Smith Memory Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Rary officiating. Visitation with family and friends will begin at 11 a.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Winder First United Methodist Church Children’s Ministry.
Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Winder.
