JEFFERSON – Marvin Randall Whitlock, 67, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015.
Mr. Whitlock was born in Jefferson, the son of the late Guy Whitlock Sr. and Lois Hilda Huntsinger Whitlock. Mr. Whitlock was retired from the textile industry and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include sisters, Beverly Whitlock and Ellen Whitlock, both of Jefferson, and Ouida Wood, Braselton; and brothers, Jack Whitlock, Commerce, Roy Whitlock, Jerry Whitlock, and Ted Whitlock, all of Jefferson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Elrod officiating with burial to follow in the Oconee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday prior to the service, from 12 to 2 p.m.
